His grace is sufficient.
It is true.
It is enough.
For me and also for you.

There is a God of the universe,
The Creator of you.
Who knows the depths of you;
And yet loves you the same.

Now you might argue,
But there are others,
Who know; and yet love me.
What’s so great about the Christian God?

And that is true:
There are.
But no one knows you like God does.
You don’t even know you in that measure.
Until the day you die,
You will still be discovering you.

He knows all of you; and still loves you.
He sees your pain.
He doesn’t diminish it.
He says, “I’ve been there.”
He cries out, “I am here.”

“I will never leave you,
Nor will I forsake you.”

“Nothing can separate you from My love.”

He knows your every scar,
And the reason behind.
He knows every ounce of pain
you have and will endure on this earth.
And He cries out, “My grace is sufficient.”

He knows every ugly thought you think;
And the thousand more after that.
And He cries out, “My grace is sufficient.”

He knows the burdens you carry,
So heavy on your shoulders;
The ones no one sees or seems to care about.
The ones you refuse to roll over to Him.
And He cries out, “My grace is sufficient.”

He knows you in the waiting;
Your unmet longings.
He sees your hope failing.
And He cries out, “My grace is sufficient”

I love you.
Not only for who you are,
Or who you will become.
I love you for you.
No matter what version.

“My grace is sufficient.”

But let’s be real…
Grace is hard to accept.
Because we all want to earn it.
Deep down we want to be our own god.
The savior of us.
And so we wrestle…

And in our wrestling,
Still He cries out:
“For you, My grace is sufficient.”

Accept that grace today:
It may just be the start to finally living.
Planted on two feet;
Free to walk.
Grounded in love. ❤️

“And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭12:9‬ ‭

In a world of noise, writing is the catalyst that drives my focus back to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and reminds me of the hope I have in Him— nothing has changed, yet everything has changed.
