“I the Lord have spoken it and I will do it. (Ezekiel 36:36a)

Yesterday as I searched through my old writings, I stumbled across some wise words from a much younger Bekah. It was a reflection on the famous verse in Psalm 46:10 that says “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” I remember this verse being a key verse at that time of my life. One I leaned on.
‭‭I had written, “imagine the difference it would make if we didn’t set into motion that which was meant to be still…”
Just imagine…
I know for me all those painful lessons have been lessons learned but maybe I wouldn’t have had to learn those hard lessons after all?
It is the Lord who sets into motion what is meant to be in motion and it is the Lord who protects and guards what is meant to be kept still.
STAND on His word today, wait, and let Him be the one to set whatever He desires into motion.
After all, He is all-wise. We are not.

In a world of noise, writing is the catalyst that drives my focus back to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and reminds me of the hope I have in Him— nothing has changed, yet everything has changed.
