It’s a journey and I am a work in progress. I am growing to be okay with that. I am so glad that He promises to not stop His work in us until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6). I’m choosing to view this life with my Lord and Savior as the greatest adventure. We’re in for a whole heap of FUN!

What do I desire? A closer walk with Him… One where I’m quick to recognize, respond, repent, and spread my wings and fly because that is what Jesus accomplished for me at Calvary… FREEDOM

“Let me be clear, the Anointed One has set us free—not partially, but completely and wonderfully free! We must always cherish this truth and stubbornly refuse to go back into the bondage of our past.”

Galatians 5:1 TPT

I’ve been so encouraged by this quote by C.S Lewis… “He wants them to learn to walk and must therefore take away His hand; and if only the will to walk is really there He is pleased even with their stumbles.” Praise the Lord that anything is possible with Him, and that when He reveals something that needs some fine tuning in our lives it’s only because He wants to do a deeper work in us. It’s for our good and for His glory.

Trying new things, learning, and growing means at times stumbling, and other times falling flat on my face. But my God is a God who doesn’t just leave me down. He strengthens my weak hands, and my feeble knees. He places me back up on my two feet. He is my firm foundation. He is the rock on which I stand. Because of Him no matter how many times I fall down I can get back up, courageously.

I’m so thankful for my good, good Father. He is with me on the mountaintops and even in the valleys low. This season has been full of ups and down… some moments where I think I might just be in heaven and some where it feels as if I’ve gone down to the pit. I choose to stand solid in faith and rejoice in Him no matter the highs or lows because He’s worthy and oh so FAITHFUL. We serve a good God!

Be encouraged my friends… He can do anything and He is still working on you, for you and in you no matter your geographical location. Believe me I know, I’ve experienced this first hand!

God is a God of redemption!

In a world of noise, writing is the catalyst that drives my focus back to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and reminds me of the hope I have in Him— nothing has changed, yet everything has changed.
