BELOVED

IMG_2880.PNG“Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.”
‭‭I John‬ ‭3:1-3‬

We are His children!

What is the Father willing to do for His children?

Absolutely everything, and anything!

Look to the cross!

Look at the sonship you have been given.

You’ve been reborn. Your Father now is the Father of the whole world. The One who created all. The One who knows all!

He is your very own Father and He only promises the best gifts.

Choose to believe this is exactly what is best for you right now.

This is protection.

When you know you are taken care of by such Love that would send His very own beloved Son to die for you so you could be given life, by a Father like that, there is no need for worry. No need for fear. You are loved unconditionally.

His job as your Father– to take the very best care of you (Which He absolutely delights in doing).

To hold you when your knees are so weak, so feeble, that you can’t stand.

He will never leave you. Nor forsake you. No never. You are His very own… that’s the precious gift Jesus gave His life so you could have!

Nothing can ever separate you from the love of the Father.

No human can even fathom the depths of a love like that.

You are loved. You are known. You are provided for. You are His.

You’ve been given new DNA. A new start. You are an overcomer in Christ. Even death has been defeated.

Spend time being held by Him. In the almighty Father’s arms. Let Him carry you. It’s the best place to be.

You are free.

Allow His discipline. He only disciplines those whom He calls His children. Those whom He loves.

If you are receiving His discipline, you know that you are His very own. He knows the exact discipline you need, and the exact measure.

Get excited for what’s in store. For what will come out of this.

I am His and He is mine.

His discipline is not teaching you what to do to earn your place as one of His children. His careful loving discipline actually proves that you are one of His children. His discipline– an instrument of His grace.”

Paul Tripp

“For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls. You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin. And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons: “My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD, Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him; For whom the LORD loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives.” If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness. Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12:3-11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

He’s got your best in mind. I promise.

Wait on Him alone. He sees the big picture. He’s got eternity in view.

Let Him lead. You won’t regret it.

Let Him show you that you my dear are His beloved.

The most precious in His sight.

He’s got you.

He wants to make that known.

In a world of noise, writing is the catalyst that drives my focus back to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and reminds me of the hope I have in Him— nothing has changed, yet everything has changed.
