The mirror, it once had a hold on me. But no longer.

It would lie to me.
It would deceive me.
It would cause me to lose.

I chose to stop looking.

To quit going out of my way for it. It doesn’t deserve any of my attention, my praise.

Instead look to Me…
I’ll show you the truth.
I’ll tell you that you are beautiful.

Not a fading kind of beauty either, one that lasts.
I’ll show you victory!

Yes I long sometimes, just to see. But immediately return to the Lord and He shows me that my longing for Him is far greater.

That He wants to remain unchallenged in my heart.

Your perception of yourself can be up to 10x the size that you actually are right now.
Trust the others, not the mirror.

It’d be healthier for you right now not to look.

Better in the long run…

I’m fighting for you!

Walk in obedience.

I’ll get you to a place where mirrors won’t have a hold on you again.

Where you find far greater worth in who you are then what you look like.

Just trust Me!

Steps, My child.

In a world of noise, writing is the catalyst that drives my focus back to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and reminds me of the hope I have in Him— nothing has changed, yet everything has changed.
