He called me higher…

Living for a higher purpose than myself.

Because of Christ, I have purpose. Because of Christ, I have a much higher calling in life than I can ever fathom.

So do you…

Isn’t it just incredible that He has such a great love for us and a purpose for each one? Even though each person literally is as small as a speck of dust in the grand scheme of things.

Yet He cared for us, not one is missing in His sight.

He chose to make man be a part of His grand plan. He chose to give man the ability to say yes, or no to Him. He chose to give man the ability to have Christ live in man.

He made us just a little lower than the angels…

“O LORD, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens! Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, Because of Your enemies, That You may silence the enemy and the avenger. When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, All sheep and oxen— Even the beasts of the field, The birds of the air, And the fish of the sea That pass through the paths of the seas. O LORD, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth!”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭8:1-9‬ ‭

The God of the universe cares that deeply about us. His love is scandalous… It makes no sense! He even sent His Son to come to this earth, live as a man, die as a man, live one hundred percent blameless, spotless, clean, and take mans sin, all our filth on the cross.

So that we no longer are seen in Christ’s eyes as the filth that we are.

We are seen as new creations!
Every stain, gone.

“For we do not commend ourselves again to you, but give you opportunity to boast on our behalf, that you may have an answer for those who boast in appearance and not in heart. For if we are beside ourselves, it is for God; or if we are of sound mind, it is for you. For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭5:12-21‬ ‭

There is reconciliation! (to bridge the gap) We have been made right before God. We are seen as righteous in His eyes. The veil has been torn. Nothing separates us from Him. We no longer stand in front of Christ guilty, but forgiven. Blameless. The price has been paid.

We are given new life.

He chose to give man the ability to have a relationship with Him and be given a purpose, a calling. A calling to live solely abandoned to Him, for His glory. The life we were meant to live, worshipping our creator forever and ever because it is He who deserves all glory, all praise, all honor. He is the One we all long for so deeply. We no longer want to live for self, cause we see the utter worthlessness in that. Our desire? Christ.

He’s a good good Father. What do you say, will you come to Him today? Decide to allow Him to govern your life, your thoughts. Allow your life to become all about Him. The life you were meant to live? Allow self to die… It’s the most fulfilling life possible!

I promise.

In a world of noise, writing is the catalyst that drives my focus back to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and reminds me of the hope I have in Him— nothing has changed, yet everything has changed.
